Projects

A unifying goal of our lab is to enable:

The core competencies of our research group are: 1. measurement and testing of electrochemical systems, 2. modeling of electrochemical transport and kinetics, and 3. advanced manufacturing using electrodeposition, self-assembly, and 3D printing. We apply our core competencies to realize transformative advances in non-conventional energy storage, multifunctional materials (high-strength lightweight metals & metal healing), and human-machine interfaces for robotics, which require us to answer fundamental questions in physics and chemistry as well as apply these fundamentals to realize practical solutions to nationally important problems.

You can find videos of our experiments on YouTube.
